Valiant Air Command Warbird Museum
|
Step back into history and visit our recently completed Vietnam Display Hangar. This hangar is dedicated to those that served and sacrificed in the Vietnam War. Additionally, the new hangar enables us to stage all our aircraft in historical order by era. You can walk through our WWI, WWII, Korea and now Vietnam era vintage warbird collection and listen to our tour guides tell you about these legendary aircraft and the pilots that flew them, as a result of actual combat experiences, historical research and anecdotal stories. The Vietnam hangar has it's own memorabilia room with artifacts, uniforms, prints, medals and a variety of other exhibits and displays. After spending time in the memorabilia room, you exit into a spacious 28,000 sf hangar with Vietnam era aircraft from the Navy, Air Force, Army and Marine Corps. Aircraft from the famous F-8 Crusader (first military aircraft to exceed 1000mph), to the A-6, to the A-10 Bronco to the most emblematic example of the war -- the famous UH-1 Huey Helicopter. There are many excellent examples of aircraft from that era including a MiG-21 and an F-4 Phantom; currently in our restoration facility.
So come in, take a tour and become a part of history. Visit all three of our hangar facilities and our two separate museums. You will not be disappointed....

Thanks to the dedication of our members and strong community support, the Warbird Museum's collection of aircraft and related artifact's has outgrown the hangar display area available.
The Board of Directors has been working the past two years with the Titusville-Cocoa (TICO) Airport Authority and our community leaders on an acquisition and funding plan to construct another display hangar. On February 22, 2010 we broke ground for the new Vietnam Display Hangar; dedicated to "Honoring The Memory" of those that served and sacrificed in that War. The new Vietnam Display Center will provide a legacy for future generations abotu the Vietnam War. Thanks to the generosity of our members and community, we will be able to continue to educate the public and preserve the legacy of great warbirds and pilots from the Vietnam era. Watch for our Grand Opening annoucement this summer ... and come in; take a tour and "become a part of history." |
